Our Commitment

Lisner is built on the belief that your inner world is sacred. We follow a "Local-First" architecture, meaning we prioritize keeping your data on your device, under your control.

Data We Collect

• Thought Data: Your voice recordings and text transcripts stay exclusively on your device by default. If you choose to enable iCloud backup, your text transcripts are securely synced to your personal Apple iCloud account. We (Lisner) never have access to your voice recordings, text transcripts, or iCloud data.
• Account Info: Your name and email address are used for authentication via Google/Apple.
• Usage Data: We track basic product interactions, along with minimal, anonymized crash reports and performance metrics (e.g., app load times) to improve the experience.

How We Share Data

We never sell your data. We only share data in these cases:

• Service Providers: We use third-party services like Google (Firebase) and Apple strictly for secure account authentication and crash reporting. They do not have access to your voice recordings or transcripts.
• Explicit Consent: In the future, if you choose to share your data with third parties, we will ask for explicit, granular consent.

Your Rights

You can delete any thought or your entire account at any time. You can request the complete deletion of your account and associated data directly within the app's settings menu. Since many of our features are local-first, deleting them on your device removes them permanently. We retain your basic account information only for as long as your account is active.
